Can I earn money from my content while on a C5A visa?
The C5A visa is designed around activities funded by income from outside Indonesia. You can create and publish content and earn from overseas platforms and brands, but you cannot take paid work from an Indonesian-based employer or client. Is the C5A different from a normal tourist visa?
Yes. A tourist visa is for leisure only. The C5A is built for creators and remote professionals who want to actively produce content during their stay, with the correct legal basis to do so.
What are the main C5A requirements?
Typically a passport valid for at least six months, a recent photo, proof of sufficient funds or income, and details of your purpose of stay. We send you a tailored checklist so you only gather what your case actually needs.
Do I need a sponsor?
Most creator and stay permits require an Indonesian sponsor. As licensed facilitators we provide the required sponsorship as part of our service.
How long does a C5A application take?
Standard processing is generally around 3–10 business days once your documents are complete. If you are on a tight schedule, ask about our express service.
Can I apply from outside Indonesia?
Yes. Much of the process is handled digitally, so you can start your application before you travel and arrive ready.
Can I extend my stay?
Many visas can be extended — for example a 60-day visit can typically be extended once for a further 60 days. We handle the extension paperwork so you don’t risk overstaying.
